Velvet Revolver’s Duff McKagan is set to return to Europe with Duff McKagan’s Loaded.

The hard hitting Seattle fourpiece, fronted by the legendary Duff McKagan as vocalist and guitarist, are set to tour the UK for the first time?.

Debut album ‘Dark Days’, released in 2001, shows a band at the height of their powers. From the ‘kick in the head’ of punked up ballsy album opener ‘Seattlehead’ to the epic and moody ‘Criminal’, from the grunge swing of ‘Wrap My Arms’ to the introspective ‘Dark Days’, the album showcases driving and melodic punk infused rock overlaid with McKagan?s unique and powerful vocals.

The band are currently in the studio working on material for a new studio album (release date tbc). The sessions are progressing well and they band already have three new tracks ready ? ‘Forgive Me’, ‘Sick’ and ‘No More’.

With Duff McKagan on Vocals and Guitar, the band is completed by Jeff Rouse on Bass, Mike Squires on Guitar and Geoff Reading on Drums.

Other news: I got to play on Izzy’s new record yesterday in Ojai…another stellar outing by that dude I must say. Always a pleasure hanging with that guy, a true gentleman.

So, the forum is up and rockin’! We are now gonna figure out some way to stream video onto the site so you can all join in the ‘behind the scenes’ buffoonery that makes up all things Loaded. We may even put up some rare and un-released jams from days of yore. UK, you up for a late summer/early fall tour? Spain? Italy? VR news: I just left Matt’s where we laid down 12 new jams….KILLER! Hi All I just wanted to let everyone know this site will be running a forum (for you all to start harassing us and send pearls of wisdom) and a store (with all of the newest and grooviest ‘Loaded’ merch to floss at school or work). As far as the forum goes, I was wondering if there would be any vulunteers to be administrators? Does anyone have the time or resource to get this new site linked up with other rock n’ roll type sites? My goal is to at least try to keep this site fairly fresh and open-ended so that a positive community can be created and kept up. Let’s have some f*@kin fun!

Ps. I want to thank all of the fans in the UK for the amazing turnouts to the Fender ‘in-store’ events over the last couple weeks…it was pretty overwhelming! Also, for now at least, post replies to the Loaded MySpace site. Thanks again….D

So I am now at the Amsterdam airport ( its 6 am here!). I am going home!! The tour was totally amazing and obviously tough at times! Will write more soon.

So I’m sitting here in Brussels, Belgium and I receive an email that Duff-Loaded.com is ready to go! It has been a long time coming that myself and Loaded finally get our own official ‘dot com’ style website. We are really looking forward to servicing the new site with all kinds of cool behind the scenes video and music, as well as posts from the studio, tour, etc..

I’m currently finishing up the UK/Euro leg on the VR tour and we have played some of the most inspired gigs of my lifetime in the last couple of weeks. Been writing a ton of music too and generally have just been wholly re-inspired music-wise.

Loaded looks to record a follow-up to ‘Dark Days’ here in late April or so and we are totally looking forward to just hanging with each other again. Of course we will then embark on the world tour opening for Led Zeppelin, followed by a co-headlining tour with the Stones and U2!

So there you have it, nothing but ‘straight-shooting’ here at Duff-Loaded.com! Let the games begin!
